Warranty Periods by Product Category
Our warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase. If a manufacturing defect occurs within these timeframes, we will provide repair or replacement services.

*Note: Due to the nature of consumable cells, batteries are covered for manufacturing defects only. Capacity loss through normal use (wear and tear) is not covered.
What is Covered?
This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use. During the warranty period, Owl Power will:

Repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts.

Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same model.
The "15-Day Fresh" Guarantee
If your product is found to be defective within 15 days of delivery, we will provide a brand-new replacement and cover the return shipping costs within New Zealand.
Exclusions & Limitations
The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to:

Misuse or Abuse: Including physical damage, drops, or use outside of specified operating parameters.

Unauthorized Modification: Any attempt to open, repair, or modify the internal circuitry.

Environmental Damage: Exposure to excessive heat, corrosive chemicals, or water ingress (unless the product is specifically rated for such environments, like XTAR Dive Lights).

Incorrect Power Input: Damage caused by using incompatible cables, solar panels, or power adapters.

Leaking Batteries: Damage to chargers or flashlights caused by leaking non-XTAR batteries.
How to Make a Claim
To ensure a smooth process, please follow these steps:

Troubleshoot: Many "faults" are related to poor contact or discharged cells. Try cleaning the contact points with a dry cloth first.

Contact Us: Email our support team with your Proof of Purchase (Invoice/Order ID) and a brief description (or video) of the fault.

Return Authorization: Once your claim is assessed, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Do not send products back without this number.

Shipping: For claims made after the initial 15-day period, the customer is responsible for shipping the item to our Northland service center. We will cover the cost of shipping the repaired/replaced item back to you.
